Your Black Hills Tiny Home Community

After a complete life reset in 2019, my daughters and I moved to our current acreage in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota.  Growing tired of my “stuff” owning me, I’ve continually been trying to downsize my possessions with the goal of living tiny in my future.  I envisioned a tiny house community where neighbors could interact and share with one another, and truly be a community – A place where crafts and gardening, movie nights and fire pits, potlucks and basic moral support could be embraced – A place with a slower pace of life in a tranquil setting at less expense than traditional living became the goal.  So, I decided to make it happen.  I stepped out of my comfort zone, hired a construction crew, and got to work.  The result is a 12 site private tiny home community on 3 acres in my backyard, which is finally ready!  I’m excited to see my dream becoming a reality and hoping others with a similar vision of this lifestyle will join me at French Creek Petites.
